Our vineyards are located in Mudgee on the Central Tablelands of New South Wales approximately 260 kms.
north west of Sydney.
The Mudgee region has been producing wine grapes for many years, its oldest vineyard was established in 1858.
We planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay grape varieties in 1994 with Shiraz and further Chardonnay vines being planted
in 1996. Other varieties have since been planted.
The vineyards are within the old Putta Bucca Estate subdivision and we have adopted that name
togather with Federation Hill for our wines.
Federation Hill was the name given by Mudgee residents to the location where a picnic was held in January 1901 to celebrate the birth of
the Commonwealth of Australia.
Our vineyards now occupy the picnic site and affectionately the Federation Hill range was so named for our premium range of wines.
The fruit selected for our premium range of wines is hand picked and the attention to detail is further
reflected by the wine making process to produce a truly unique range of wines for your enjoyment.
